Laura Huff Hileman offers group dreamwork, individual dream consultations, and dream education in the form of workshops, retreats, and presentations.

EXPERIENCING DREAMWORK
 

Groups – A dream group is a gathering of people who sense that through our nightly dreams, the Holy speaks timely messages of guidance, love, wisdom, and challenge. In working with our dreams together, we help each other hone the spiritual intuition and responsiveness that allow us – individually and collectively – to be transformed into the wholeness that God desires for us.  

In a dream group, we listen to one another’s dreams as we listen to a poem or parable.  We take them into our own imaginations, and offer insights, connections, feelings and questions that arise from our experience with the dreams.  The dreamer is free to take whatever seems relevant.  There’s no pressure, no guru, no single conclusive interpretation.  Playful, prayerful, open-ended dreamwork moves us into deeper understanding of ourselves and of the ways God moves in our lives.

     Group Dreamwork I – Exploring Dreams in a Group. For 4-6 participants.
          Inquire – Optional.  Begin with a 1-hour  introductory session to learn the basics of dream spirituality and dream group process,  and to gather interest for exploring dreams together.  Fee negotiable.
          Form a Group – Minimum of eight 90-minute sessions. Each session includes a short teaching focus and group work on two dreams.  $200 each person for the series: this includes teaching materials and art supplies.  Sign up with friends or request to be placed in a group.  Groups forming continually.

  Group Dreamwork II – Establishing a Dream Group in Your Church or Community.
This package includes a 4-week teaching series followed by an 8-week initial dream group. During the 8 weeks your group will choose one of its members as the new facilitator who will lead the group during its next season. I will mentor the facilitator, provide packets for dream education, and link your group with established networks for regional and national dream-related events.    Fee negotiable.

Dream Partners – Learn to partner a friend in listening for dream wisdom. Sharing dreams adds a rich dimension to relationships and builds faith, courage, and creativity in waking life.  Pairs meet for six 1-hour sessions.  $180 for each partner.

Individual – In a season of change, discernment, or challenge, our dreams deserve focused attention. A series of individual dream sessions can be particularly helpful. Together we can explore dreams that seem thematically linked, recurrent dreams, or nightmares.  Begin with a free 30-minute consultation in which we determine whether or not this is the right path for you.   Sessions are $60 per hour.  Series of 6 sessions is $300.   Sliding scale available if necessary.

 

Note: I am a spiritual director, not a therapist.  My job is to listen, reflect, question, and help you connect your dream stories with your life story, and with God’s dream for you.  If I sense that your dreams are asking for work that is beyond my scope, I will refer you to someone who can help you with those issues.
